My work in ceramics, a combination of wheel-throwing and hand-building, has been influenced by studying Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) and Jungian-imagery experiences. I am attracted to the tactile dimension of clay, particularly carving and mark-making to create texture and shape.
Creativity flows best for me when I am on a “journey without a goal”. My hope is that as many people as possible can experience the joy, magic and energy of tapping into their creative sides!

Meet WildBoy!
In 1992, quite by accident, I happened to meet a brown and white bunny at a pet store. Within a week, this bunny (a Dutch bunny) came to live with me. He was so happy to be free – he was a house bunny – that as he raced around my apartment, I began to remark “He is such a wild boy!” So as you can see, he earned his name honestly.
WildBoy changed my life and taught me so much! He knew how to live life fully: eating, sleeping, sitting in the sun. He was inquisitive and playful. His zest for living inspired a sense of wonder and curiosity in me. These are some of the feelings I experience while I create pottery - so I decided to name my business in his memory.
